Alleged Xiaomi Redmi 6A spotted on TENAA with specs and images

Xiaomi is planning to launch a handful of devices under its Redmi and Mi series. Ahead of the unveiling, the upcoming Redmi 6 and Redmi 6 Plus were already spotted on the Chinese certification agency TENAA’s website. Now, yet another Redmi series smartphone, purportedly dubbed the Redmi 6A, has been spotted on TENAA, which has revealed the handset’s specs and images.
The alleged Xiaomi Redmi 6A has been spotted on TENAA under three model numbers, including M1804C3DT, M1804C3DC, and the M1804C3CT. The former two models have a dual primary camera setup at the rear. The dual-cam setup is expected to include a 12MP main snapper, aided by an 8MP secondary shooter. The M1804C3CT variant is listed on TENAA with a single 8MP primary camera at the back. The rest of the specs of these models are expected to be similar.
As for the other specs, the TENAA listing suggests that the Redmi 6A will feature a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is expected to offer an octa-core 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The handset listed on TENAA will come in multiple RAM and storage configurations – namely 2GB / 3GB / 4GB RAM and 16GB / 32GB / 64GB native memory. The device is expected to boot Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, and to be powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
Lastly, the TENAA listing indicates that the Redmi 6A could come in several colour options, including blue, black, gold, rose gold, silver grey, white, red, pink, purple, and yellow. As of now, there’s no word regarding the availability of the handset.
