Lenovo Z5 teasers hint at powerful battery and dual rear cameras

Lenovo’s upcoming smartphone, the Z5, has been garnering a lot of headlines for a while now. Lenovo’s Vice President, Chang Cheng has already announced on Weibo that the company is working on a flagship device. The top executive later went on to share a sketch of the smartphone, which teased the all-display front of the forthcoming handset. Now, Cheng has shared few more teasers on the same platform highlighting the battery life and the camera prowess of the Z5.
In the first teaser image, Cheng reveals that the Lenovo Z5 will come with a powerful battery that can offer a standby time of 45 days. However, the image doesn’t reveal the battery capacity of the upcoming phone. In the same teaser, Xiaomi also confirms that the brand will be sending out the media invites for the launch event soon. It’s being speculated that the smartphone will go official on June 14th. Cheng also posted a couple of low-light shots taken using the Z5 and the watermark at the bottom confirms that the upcoming smartphone will come with a dual-camera module at the rear with AI capabilities.
In the past teasers, the top executive has revealed that the upcoming smartphone is expected to come with four technological breakthroughs, including 18 patented technologies. A recent report also claimed that the Lenovo Z5 will allegedly come with 4TB of storage with ‘particle technology’. He further claimed that with this amount of storage onboard, the smartphone will be able to store up to 2,000 HD movies, 1,50,000 lossless music files, and 1 million photos.
While no further details of the smartphone are known at this point, the upcoming Lenovo Z5 seems like a loaded offering. Assuming that the Lenovo Z5 will indeed launch on June 14th, we don’t have to wait for long.
