OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition to go on sale tomorrow at 12 pm

OnePlus recently launched its latest – OnePlus 6 (review) in the country, which happens to be the first flagship from the brand to have a notch display and premium glass sandwich design. At the same event, the brand also launched an Avengers Limited edition variant (first impressions) of the smartphone in partnership with Marvel. While the regular variants of the flagship smartphone have already gone up for sale in the country starting May 22nd, the limited edition model is scheduled to go on sale tomorrow.

Notably, the Marvel Avengers Edition OnePlus is the high-end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone also comes with a distinct carbon fiber finish under the rear glass panel, Avengers logo, gold accentuated notification slider and special Avengers theme for the interface. Apart from these changes, the limited edition OnePlus 6 retains the remaining spec sheet of the regular variants. The Marvel Avengers Limited Edition OnePlus 6 can be picked up from Amazon India and OnePlus online store. The handset will set you back Rs 44,999.

To recap on the spec sheet of the handset, it comes with a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio to house the notch and a resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels. For protection, there is a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the top. The performance of the handset is powered by the top-tier Snapdragon 845 processor. In terms of optics, the OnePlus 6 offers a 16-megapixel f/1.7 primary camera accompanied by a 20-megapixel f/1.7 lens on the rear panel and a 16-megapixel f/2.0 camera for selfies. The phone boots Android 8.1 Oreo-based OxygenOS and is powered by a 3,300mAh battery. There is a fingerprint scanner on the rear and face unlock for security.

Apart from Amazon India and OnePlus store, the limited edition device will also be available at all offline retailers including the Bangalore experience store, authorised stores, and Croma stores across India from June 3rd. Citibank debit and credit card users can avail cashback worth Rs 2,000 during the first week. The brand is also offering a 12-month accidental damage insurance in partnership with Servify to buyers upon downloading Kotak 811 app. Other offers include discounts worth Rs 500 on Amazon Kindle e-books, Rs 2,000 cashback along with device insurance for Idea users and benefits up to Rs 25,000 on bookings from ClearTrip.
