Xiaomi announces curved 55-inch Mi TV 4S 4K HDR TV alongside several new models in China

“The 4K models come with the company’s Mi Remote Control that features both an IR sensor as well as Bluetooth for connectivity”

Xiaomi launched its Mi LED Smart TV 4 (review), Mi TV 4A 43-inch, and Mi TV 4A 32-inch earlier this year in India. With this launch, the company made it clear that the brand will not just focus on smartphones but is ready to foray into other product categories in India as well. Now, the company has launched curved Mi TV 4S (55-inch), Mi TV 4X (55-inch), Mi TV 4S (43-inch), and Mi TV 4C (32-inch) in China, and this time around we can expect some or all of these models to eventually make it to India as well.

The 4K models come along with the company’s Mi Remote Control that features both an IR sensor as well as Bluetooth for connectivity. The 4K TV models notably come with HDR 10 support as well.

Moving on to the individual models, the most exciting out of the lot, the curved Mi TV 4S (55-inch) TV comes with an LED panel that has a screen resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and 178-degree wide viewing angle. The new curved TV from Xiaomi comes with 8ms dynamic response time and offers a refresh rate of 60Hz. A quad-core Amlogic Cortex A53 processor, clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB RAM and Mali-450 GPU powers the TV. There is 8GB of onboard storage, while connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, WiFi 802.11 ac, and an Ethernet port.

Apart from this, the processor, RAM, GPU, onboard storage, and connectivity options offered by both models are the same.

This model is also powered by a quad-core Amlogic Cortex A53 processor, clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with Mali-450 GPU. Onboard storage and connectivity options are same apart from the fact that this model features two HDMI ports instead of three present on the other two models.
