Xiaomi Mi Band 3 could be priced at around Rs 1,800, suggests official listing
“The Mi Band 3 is expected to come with a touchscreen OLED display and could support gesture-based actions”
Just yesterday, Xiaomi confirmed that it will be introducing its next-gen Mi Band wearable dubbed the Mi Band 3 at its product launch event on May 31st in Shenzhen, China. Ahead of the unveiling, we have already seen the company’s CEO Lei Jun spotted wearing the brand’s upcoming fitness tracker. Now, just a couple of days ahead of the launch, a screenshot of the Mi Band 3’s listing on the vendor’s website has surfaced on the interwebs today.

The official listing of the Xiaomi Band 3 is no longer accessible. However, the leaked screenshot has suggested that the next-gen Mi Band fitness tracker could be priced at RMB 169 (~Rs 1,800). The listing hasn’t revealed any specifications of the upcoming Mi Band 3. However, recent reports have indicated that the wearable could carry a design almost similar to that of the Mi Band 2.
If the reports are to be believed, the Xiaomi Band 3 could feature a touchscreen OLED display. The accessory is said to support gesture-based actions like swiping up and down to switch functions, and more. A recent Bluetooth certification of the alleged wearable suggested that it could be a Bluetooth 4.2-enabled device. Apart from Bluetooth, the device is expected to offer NFC connectivity as well.

According to the reports, the Mi Band 3 will offer usual health-centric features such as a heart rate sensor, step counter, calorie calculator, and sleep monitoring. The accessory could sport a rugged design thanks to the IP67 certified splash-resistant design. We should have official details regarding the upcoming Xiaomi fitness tracker in a matter of days, so stay tuned for regular updates.
