Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 with 75-inch 4K HDR display and AI voice assistant launched in China
“The new Mi LED TV is based on Android-based PatchWall interface”
Xiaomi today celebrated its 8th anniversary in China with the launch of a slew of products. One of the brand’s new products includes the 75-inch Mi LED TV 4. Similar to the brand’s earlier Mi LED series TVs, the latest offering is also powered by the vendor’s Android-based PatchWall interface. It utilises artificial intelligence to curate content according to the user’s watching history.
The new Mi LED TV 4 boasts a 75-inch display bearing a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels that supports HDR content. The TV offers 178-degrees of viewing angles, 60Hz of refresh rate, and a response time of 8ms. The smart television comes with 11.4mm slim metal body, and boasts Dolby DTS audio. The TV is designed using a two-colour anodizing process, which as per the brand, allows the blue-green ultra-narrow metal frame to have crystal clear light even in low light. The smart TV is also equipped by AI voice assistant, but there’s no word regarding its functionality at the moment.
As for other features, the 75-inch Mi LED TV 4 is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Amlogic processor. The TV comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. There are two 8-watt speakers on board. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, and an AV port. The TV also comes bundled with a voice-controlled Bluetooth remote control.
The 75-inch Mi LED TV 4 has been priced at RMB 8,999 (~Rs 94,800). The smart TV will go on sale in China on June 6th.
