Alleged OPPO R15s with model numbers PACT20 and PACM20 spotted on China’s MIIT certification agency

The Chinese handset maker, OPPO launched its latest smartphone in the R series, the R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition in China, earlier this year. These handsets flaunt an iPhone X-like notch above the screen and a glass-sandwich design. Soon after these devices were launched, rumours about another powerful variant of the phone – R15s started floating around the interwebs. Now, the alleged smartphone has been spotted on the Chinese certification website, MIIT with model number PACT20 and PACM20.

These models are believed to be the OPPO R15s based on the fact that the variants of OPPO R15 launched earlier carried the model numbers – PACM00 and PACT00. However, the MIIT listing of these smartphones doesn’t reveal any key information apart from the fact that these devices will come with support for 4G LTE network. However, if previous reports are to be believed, the OPPO R15s is expected to come with an under-display fingerprint scanner and the latest Snapdragon 710 chipset from Qualcomm. However, these are mere speculations as of now and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
