Alleged Xiaomi Mi A2 spotted on retailer’s website, specs and pricing leaked

Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi A series smartphone, the Mi A2, has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. Most recently, the phone was purportedly spotted on the benchmarking site Geekbench, which revealed a couple of specs of the handset. Now the alleged Xiaomi Mi A2 has been listed on a Swiss electronics retail portal, which has leaked most of the specifications and pricing details of the upcoming Mi A offering.
The listing on Switzerland-based website Digitec suggests that the Xiaomi Mi A2 could feature a 5.99-inch display bearing a full HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, aided by 4GB of RAM. The handset is said to arrive in three storage configurations – 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. Just like its predecessor, the Mi A2 is also rumoured to be an Android One smartphone.
The retailer’s website reveals that the Xiaomi Mi A2 could sport a vertically stacked dual camera setup at the rear, with the primary camera being a 12MP sensor. On the front, the handset is expected to feature a 20MP snapper. The connectivity features will include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C. A 3,010mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 is said to fuel the handset.
As for the design, the e-tailer’s listing suggests that the Xiaomi Mi A2 could feature a design similar to the Mi 6X. There’s no way to confirm the authenticity of the aforementioned information, so we’ll suggest to take this news with a pinch of salt.
Furthermore, the listing suggests that the Xiaomi Mi A2’s 32GB model could be priced around Rs 19,800, while the 64GB variant could cost around Rs 22,500. The 64GB model is said to be available for approximately Rs 25,000.
