Amazon introduces monthly Prime membership subscription at Rs 129
“Now Amazon India users can avail Prime membership either monthly at Rs 129 or yearly at Rs 999”
Back in 2016, the e-commerce giant Amazon introduced its Prime membership in India. Ever since the launch, a subscription to the service has been available at Rs 999 for a year. However now, the company has quietly launched a monthly Amazon Prime subscription in the country that costs Rs 129.

Amazon India users can avail the monthly Rs 129 Prime membership subscription only using the select credit or debit cards. To compare, users can pay for the yearly plan of the service using any credit or debit card, net banking, or other electronic payment methods. Interested users can subscribe for the Prime membership by heading to Amazon’s app or website.

Amazon says that it will auto-renew the Rs 129 package at the end of every 30 days using the original payment method used by the user. The company will notify the subscribers of monthly Amazon Prime users three days before the auto-renew date every month. If users are not interested in renewing the monthly subscription, then they can cancel the service manually.
For the uninitiated, Amazon Prime subscription service offers unlimited free one-day and two-day deliveries, and discounted same day, morning and scheduled deliveries. You get 30 minutes early access to Lightning Deals, and exclusive Lightning Deals and Deals of the Day. Additionally, the service offers access to Amazon’s content services including Prime Video and Amazon Music.
