Jio counters Airtel with its Double Dhamaka scheme; offering 84GB data at just Rs 120
“Jio is now offering a discount of Rs 100 on all tariffs of Rs 300 and above, and 20 percent on recharges below Rs 300”
Airtel recently doubled the data benefits of its Rs 149 and Rs 399 prepaid voice and data combo plans. The company’s Rs 149 pack now offers 56GB of data for 28 days, and the Rs 399 delivers 201GB of data for 84 days. Today, Reliance Jio has countered Airtel by announcing its Double Dhamaka offer, which is running for a limited period and offering handsome data benefits on various prepaid plans.
Reliance Jio is now offering a discount of Rs 100 on all recharges of Rs 300 and above, and 20 percent on tariffs below Rs 300. The discount is available if the user recharges through the MyJio app and pays using PhonePe wallet. To counter Airtel, Reliance Jio is offering 1.5GB of additional data per day to all users who recharge with any daily-recurring data tariff.
Jio’s Rs 149, Rs 349, Rs 399, and Rs 449 prepaid plans now offer 3GB of data per day. The Rs 198, Rs 398, Rs 448, and Rs 498 packs are now delivering 3.5GB of data every day during the validity of these packs. The Rs 299 tariff is now offering 4.5GB of data per day. As for the plans with higher data benefits, the Rs 508 pack will now deliver 5.5GB of data/day, while the Rs 799 tariff will now provide 6.5GB of data every day.
Two of the best Jio prepaid plans now include Rs 149 and Rs 399. After the discount when availed using the MyJio app and PhonePe, the Rs 149 plan costs Rs 120 and the Rs 399 plan sets you back by Rs 299. Overall, you get 3GB of data per day for 28 days for Rs 120 and for 84 days for Rs 299, apart from the unlimited calling benefits.
Jio’s new Double Dhamaka offer is running between June 12th and June 30th. Jio said that it is maintaining its “every day more value” promise, which assures that Jio users will always get more benefits than any other telecom operator in the industry.
