Motorola Moto G6 Plus with 5.7-inch Max Vision display and SD630 to launch in India soon

As expected, the Lenovo-owned brand, Motorola launched its sixth-generation Moto G smartphones – Moto G6 (first impressions) and Moto G6 Play in India today. There was a plus variant called – Moto G6 Plus in offing as well, however, since the handset was not launched in States it was being speculated that it might not come to India as well. In a surprising turn of event, the brand has now announced that the Moto G6 Plus will also land in the sub-continent in a couple of months. However, apart from this Motorola didn’t reveal any specific timeline and pricing.

To recap on the spec sheet of the handset, the Moto G6 Plus comes with a 5.7-inch MaxVision display with FHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone gets a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. The processor has been further backed by 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. In the imaging department, the Moto G6 Plus offers a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup with dual pixel autofocus on the rear. As for the selfies, the global variant of the smartphone comes with an 8MP shooter with LED flash. The handset boots the stock Android Oreo and is powered by a 3,200mAh battery. There is a fingerprint scanner and face unlock for security.

The Moto G6 Plus is being offered in four colours – Sterling Blue, Indigo Blue, Fine Gold, and Silver. While the Indian pricing is not known at the moment, it retails for €299 (~Rs 24,315) in select markets it has been launched in.
