OnePlus 6 Silk White limited edition to go on sale in India on June 5th

OnePlus launched its much anticipated flagship smartphone – OnePlus 6 (review) last month. The Mirror Black, Matte Black and Marvel Avengers Limited Edition (first impressions) variants of the handset have already gone up for sale in the country. Now, the brand has announced that the limited edition Silk White variant is also arriving soon and will go on sale in India starting June 5th.

Notably, the limited edition Silk White OnePlus is being touted as the most aesthetic variant of the flagship with the rose gold trimmings and a shimmering finish on the glass panel. OnePlus claims that the shimmering effect on the rear panel has been achieved with the use of pearl powder. Apart from aesthetics, the smartphone retains the spec sheet of the regular variant. However, OnePlus is offering the Silk White Edition in a single configuration – 8GB RAM + 128 GB native storage. 

To recap on the spec sheet of the smartphone, it comes with a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with screen resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels. There is a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top of the screen to protect against minor scratches. At its core, is the top-tier Snapdragon 845 processor backed by Adreno 630 GPU. In the imaging department, the OnePlus 6 offers a 16MP + 20MP dual camera module on the rear panel and a 16-megapixel f/2.0 camera on the front for selfies. It boots Android 8.1 Oreo-based Oxygen OS out of the box and is powered by a 3,300mAh battery with support for Dash Charging.

The Silk White OnePlus 6 will be up for grabs on Amazon India and the online store of the brand starting June 5th and will set you back by Rs 39,999. The brand is offering cashback of Rs 2,000 on transactions using Citibank cards. There is also a No Cost EMI for three months on all major banks’ cards.
