Samsung Galaxy S10 tipped to come in three models; top variant expected to pack triple rear cameras

“As per reports, Samsung’s foldable smartphone is expected to launch alongside the S10 flagship”

Over the last few years, Samsung Galaxy S lineup of flagship smartphones have brought forth some innovative features. However, the brand’s latest premium offerings, the S9 (review) and S9+ (review), weren’t particularly exciting apart packing the dual-aperture feature in the primary camera.  But it seems that the company is already pulling up its socks as a new report from South Korea suggests that Samsung is planning to launch next year’s Galaxy S10 flagship in three different models. Notably, this will be the first time the company will introduce a trio of devices since the series was launched around a decade back.

Codenamed ‘Beyond 0′, ‘Beyond 1′, and ‘Beyond 2′, all three variants of the handset have been tipped to offer different features and specifications. For Beyond 0 and Beyond 1, the display size is said to be at 5.8-inches, while the Beyond 2 is expected to ship with a screen measuring 6.2-inches diagonally.

Further, the Beyond 0, Beyond 1, and Beyond 2 are expected to feature single, dual, and triple rear cameras, respectively. Interestingly, the top-end Beyond 2 is also expected to come with an under-display fingerprint sensor, as per the report.

While Beyond 2 is said to be the highest-end flagship from the South Korean company, the Beyond 1 is expected to be the most affordable model, which will help the company with sales numbers.

Apart from the Galaxy S10 models, Samsung has also been tipped to be working on a foldable smartphone. The handset, which is said to be in development for years now, isn’t expected to be the first foldable smartphone in the market but the company is rushing to introduce its offering, the report suggests. HTC is believed to be the first company that will launch a foldable smartphone, which is expected to go official in November this year.
