The Nokia 2.1 may be coming to the US soon
“The Nokia 2.1 is a budget offering based on Android Oreo (Go edition)”
Last month, Nokia expanded its range of budget smartphones with the launch of the Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 in Russia. The new Nokia offerings will be available in the major markets starting next month. The company is expected to release these phones in the United States first as recently the Nokia 5.1 was approved by FCC (Federal Communications Commission). Now the Nokia 2.1 has also been dismantled by the US certification agency.

The Nokia 2.1’s approval by FCC indicates that the phone will launch soon in the US. The phone device has been spotted on FCC’s website carrying the model number TA-1084. It’s worth mentioning that when some devices get FCC approval, that doesn’t necessarily suggest they will be launched in the US.

For the uninitiated, the Nokia 2.1 is an entry-level smartphone that’s based on Android Oreo (Go edition). The phone is priced at $115 (~Rs 7,800), and will be available in Blue/Copper, Blue/Silver, and Grey/Silver hues.
