The month of July is expected to witness some major smartphone launches in the country. The latest flagships from OPPO and Vivo will be making their way to the subcontinent, and they are far advanced from the kind of phones we’ve seen till now. ASUS is also set to unveil its high-end offering next month. Budget consumers need not be disappointed though, as there’s something for them as well. Let’s take a look at all the top smartphones that are expected to make their way into our shores this July.

OPPO Find X

The buzz surrounding this device just refuses to die down. Apart from being among the most gorgeous phones around, it is also the first in the world to sport a pop-up mechanism housing dual rear cameras and a selfie shooter. This allows the handset to have a beautiful bezel-less display without any notch. It also features top-of-the-line specifications with Snapdragon 845 chipset and 8GB RAM. The brand has already sent invites for the July 12th, which is when the Find X is expected to launch officially.

Vivo NEX S

The Vivo NEX S is another phone with a pop-up module, but it’s only the front camera that has received this treatment. But that has allowed the phone to offer an immersive bezel-less display while ditching the unpopular notch. Another highlight of the handset is its under-display fingerprint scanner. And as far as flagships of 2018 go, this one ticks all the right boxes in terms of specifications. Vivo has confirmed that the phone will be launched in India on July 19th.

ASUS ZenFone 5Z

The ASUS ZenFone 5Z has taken a minimal bezel approach with its display, but a notch is indeed present on it. Among the biggest draws of the flagship are its AI features, that aim to enhance the imaging experience as well as several other things. The 5Z comes equipped with the top-of-the-line specifications as well, including a dual camera setup at the rear, Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 845 chipset and up to 8GB RAM.

Nokia X6

The glass-and-metal combo of the Nokia X6 will impress you at the very first glance. It’s the first phone from the company to bear a notch on top of its display. Not just looks, the X6 is by far the most impressive mid-range handset from the brand. The phone packs the powerful Snapdragon 636 processor that’s paired with 4GB of RAM. In the imaging department, it comes with dual rear shooters and a 16MP front camera for selfies.

Honor 9X / New Honor 9i

As we had reported a few days ago, our sources have indicated that the Honor 9i will be launched in India as the Honor 9X. The device is expected to be released in mid-July with a price tag of around Rs 15,000. This phone has a notch-toting display, a dual camera setup, a Kirin 659 chipset and 4GB of RAM. With its arrival, it will certainly pose a big competition to Xiaomi’s Note 5 series.

Moto E5

After the launch of the Moto G6 and G6 Play, Motorola has started teasing the release of the budget-friendly Moto E5 in India. The handset packs a powerful 4,000mAh battery to ensure that it can last more than a day of use. Other specs include a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 425 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. For imagery, the phone offers a single 13-meg snapper at the back and a 5MP selfie camera.
