“The Vivo Z1i is expected to be a mid-range offering with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor”

Last month, Vivo unveiled its first Z series smartphone called the Vivo Z1 in its home market of China. Now it appears that the company is planning to launch yet another Z series offering soon. Ahead of the unveiling, the upcoming Vivo Z1i’s alleged render and specifications have been leaked on the interwebs, which suggest that it will be a slightly downgraded variant of its predecessor.

Vivo Z1i leak

As for the design, the Vivo Z1i’s purported render suggests that the phone will have a design similar to the Vivo Z1. While it’s not clear from the render, it’s quite possible that the Vivo Z1i will feature a notch above the display, just like its predecessor. The handset is expected to sport a vertically-placed dual primary camera setup and a fingerprint sensor at the rear.

Talking about the specs, the leak reveals that the Vivo Z1i could feature a 6.26-inch full HD+ display, and boot Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The handset is expected to be powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. The device is said to offer 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. The camera department is tipped to include a 13MP + 2MP dual primary snapper setup, and a 16MP selfie sensor. A 3,180mAh battery is expected to keep the phone running.

Lastly, the leak indicates that the Vivo Z1i will be priced at RMB 1,998 (~Rs 20,700). One of the colour variants of the phone could be available in red. We should have more details about the device in the near future, so stay in touch.
