Now, the vendor has revealed some information about the security features of the tablet. In addition, purported pricing of the Mi Pad 4 has also been leaked on the interwebs.

Using a teaser, Xiaomi has announced that the Mi Pad 4 tablet will not be offering a fingerprint sensor. Instead, the slate will be equipped with facial recognition to unlock the device. However, it’s not clear if the device will be utilising the front camera or some dedicated hardware for this functionality.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 tablet is expected to be fuelled by a 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor. The slate will feature an 8-inch display, possibly with a resolution of full HD+. The tablet could offer a 13-megapixel primary shooter with an LED flash, and a 5-megapixel secondary snapper on the front. The other tipped specs include Android Oreo and a 6,000mAh battery.

As for the pricing leak, the rumour suggests that the Mi Pad 4 will come in Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE-enabled variants. The Wi-Fi only model is tipped to feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which will be priced at RMB 1,499 (~Rs 15,640). The LTE variant is said to come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and will set you back by RMB 1,999 (~Rs 20,857).
