Xiaomi Mi A2 Geekbench

For the uninitiated, the Mi A2 is rebranded Mi 6X with Android One, which means it will come with the Android 8.1 Oreo as spotted on Geekbench, in its stock iteration. To recap on other specs, the smartphone will come with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Driving the performance of the phone will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. Xiaomi is offering the handset in China in three configurations, i.e. 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The variant spotted on the Geekbench is the base variant with 4GB RAM.

Coming to the optics, the upcoming smartphone offers a 20MP + 12MP rear camera module with dual tone LED flash and 20MP selfie camera. For security, the smartphone offers a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. There is a 3,010mAh battery under the rear panel with support for Quick Charge 3.0. Moreover, in what comes as a surprise, Xiaomi removed the 3.5mm audio jack from the Mi 6X and we can expect the same in the Mi A2 as well.

The brand is expected to launch Mi A2 soon, however, at this point, there is no concrete information regarding its availability and pricing in India. We will bring you more updates, as and when they emerge so stay tuned.
