Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 confirmed to sport an 8-inch display and the Snapdragon 660 SoC
“The Mi Pad 4 is set to unveil next week in China”
Xiaomi recently announced that it will be introducing its next-gen Mi Pad tablet called the Mi Pad 4 at an event in China on June 25th. At the same event, the brand will also be unveiling yet another Redmi series smartphone dubbed the Redmi 6 Pro. Ahead of the launch, just earlier today, the company released the official renders of the phone. Now, the brand has also teased a couple of features of the Mi Pad 4 tablet.

Xiaomi has released a poster for the upcoming Mi Pad 4. The poster has confirmed that the slate will be powered by Qualcomm’s powerful chipset in the SD6xx series, the Snapdragon 660. While Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the clock speed of this SoC, earlier leaks have indicated that it could be clocked at 2.0GHz, which means that the brand might not utilise the full potential of the processor, as it’s highest clock speed is 22GHz. Furthermore, Xiaomi has revealed that the Mi Pad 4 will feature an 8-inch display with a full HD+ resolution.
As per the earlier leaks, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 could feature an aspect ratio of 18:9. The slate is also expected to come with a 13-megapixel primary camera, and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. The tablet is said to boot Android Oreo out of the box, and will be fuelled by a 6,000mAh battery. We should have more details in a matter of days, so stay tuned.
