The phone will be available to buy exclusively on Flipkart. Ahead of the launch, ASUS ZenFone 5Z’s pricing for India has already been leaked. The base variant is said to be priced at Rs 29,999, while its 128GB model could set you back by Rs 32,999. The phone will also be available in a high-end 256GB variant, which is expected to retail for Rs 36,999. If this is correct, the ZenFone 5Z will be the most affordable Snapdragon 845-powered offering in India.

For the uninitiated, the ASUS ZenFone 5Z sports a 6.2-inch full HD+ notch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone ships with either 6GB or 8GB RAM, which works alongside the SD845 SoC. The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and also gets the face unlock capability. At the rear, the phone has a dual 12MP + 8MP camera setup, while on the front, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter. The handset boots Android 8.1 Oreo which is layered with the brand’s proprietary ZenUI. A 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support completes the list of the specs.
