OPPO F9 and F9 Pro surface on Bluetooth certifications site, launch imminent

OPPO recently launched its futuristic state of the art phone, the Find X (first impression), in India. The Chinese OEM is now prepping to announce a new phone under its selfie-focused F-series, called the OPPO F9 – successor of the F7 (review). The company has teased the samartphone online, and it seems like the F9 will come with dual-rear cameras backed by LED flash. Now, the phone has been leaked on the Bluetooth certification site, which also hints at its Pro variant.

As per the leak, the OPPO F9/F9 Pro is certified to have a Bluetooth 4.2 technology, which is the same as the OPPO F7. Furthermore, the devices will support standard cellular connectivity like GSM/GPRS, WCDMA, and FDD-LTE. Sadly, it hasn’t revealed any other information about the device, so we aren’t sure what’s going to be different between the two variants. The rumours are that the OPPO F9 could employ MediaTek Helio P60 SoC (MT6771) paired with 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB storage space respectively under its hood. 

The spec details of the upcoming OPPO F9 is very scarce at the moment. OPPO is yet to confirm the launch date of the phone, but the ‘Coming Soon’ tag on its teaser makes its August release plausible. We will have more details about both the OPPO F9 or the F9 Pro (if there is any) in the coming days, so stay tuned.
