“The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is expected to sport a Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood”
If you haven’t been living under the rock lately, then you might probably know that Samsung is planning to the Galaxy Note 9 flagship smartphone on August 9th. However, that won’t be the only highlight of the day as the company is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Tab S4 tablet and Galaxy Watch wearable at the same event. Both the devices have been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. Now, a short hands-on video of the purported Galaxy Tab S4 tablet has surfaced on the interwebs.
In the leaked video, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 has been shown briefly from both front and back, which gives us a peek at the design of the tablet. In line with the earlier leaks, the clip suggests that the slate could come with a large-screen display with slim bezels on the sides. Interestingly, it appears that the brand will be ditching the home button on the front of the tablet and capacitive buttons in favour of the on-screen navigational keys. Further, the hands-on video indicates that the Tab S4 tablet could arrive in two colour variants Black and Gray. Sadly, the hands-on video hasn’t revealed any specifications of the device.
As per the earlier leaks, the Galaxy Tab S4 could come with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The flagship slate is tipped to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, aided by 4GB of RAM and 64GB expandable storage. The device is likely to run Android 8.1 Oreo and pack a massive 7,300mAh battery. For imaging, the Tab S4 is rumoured to offer a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front shooter. Moreover, the tablet could offer support for the S Pen and Samsung DeX.
There’s no word on the pricing and the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 at the moment. However, the tablet’s launch is just around the corner, so we won’t have to wait for too long for the official details about the tablet.
