Reliance Jio’s new Rs 99 plan offers 500MB of data per day to JioPhone users

Reliance is kicking off its JioPhone Monsoon Hungama starting today in India. As part of the scheme, the company is offering an attractive exchange offer, where you can simply pay additional Rs 501 along with your old feature phone to pick up the first-gen JioPhone (first impressions). In addition, the telco has announced a new Rs 99 tariff plan for JioPhone users.

The latest tariff joins the existing Rs 49 and Rs 153 JioPhone plans. The new plan will deliver 500MB of high-speed data every day. Apart from the data benefits, users will also get unlimited voice calling without any daily limit, even during roaming. The pack also provides 300 SMS for the duration of the validity, which is 28 days. Notably, the Rs 49 plan offers a total of 1GB data for 28 days, while Rs 153 plan gets you a daily data benefit of 1GB, apart from calling and SMS benefits. All these plans offer access to Jio’s premium app suite as well.

With the JioPhone Monsoon Hungama offer, the telecom operator is offering an option of six recharges of Rs 99 to get 90GB of data for a period of six months. In total, this will cost subscribers Rs 594.
