Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with dual SIM support spotted on NCC website

Samsung has officially announced that its next – Galaxy Note 9 will be launched globally on August 9th at its Unpacked’ event scheduled in New York. As is expected from a Samsung flagship, the smartphone has been subjected to a number of leaks and rumours in the past including TENAA and Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) certification website. Now, the smartphone has been spotted on Taiwan’s NCC certification website.
The NCC certification doesn’t reveal anything much about the handset except that it comes with dual SIM support and will carry a model number – SM-N960F/DS. According to the previous leaks, the Galaxy Note 9 will come with a 6.4-inch display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and thinner than ever bezels. The handset is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 845 in the US and Exynos 9810 SoC in other markets. The chipset is further expected to be backed by 6 GB RAM. As per the rumours, the Galaxy Note 9 will come in three storage configuration – 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
In the camera department, it is being speculated that the Galaxy Note 9 will come with the same cameras as s Galaxy S9 (review) and S9+ (review). Therefore, we can expect the rear panel to be home to a dual camera module housing a pair of 12-megapixel shooters. It is also being speculated that the phablet will feature an improved S-Pen stylus with wireless connectivity, which will make it a standalone accessory. Further, we know that the smartphone will get a 4,000mAh battery for power requirements. For security, Galaxy Note 9 is expected to have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner below camera module.
Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9th along with Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Tab 8.0 (2018). We will have more details in the coming days, so stay tuned.
