Unknown ASUS Z01RD phone model spotted on TENAA with a 6.18-inch screen and a 3,150mAh battery

Earlier this year, the Taiwanese tech giant ASUS unveiled the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z smartphones. The company is all set to launch the ZenFone 5Z in the Indian market at an event on July 4th. Now it looks like the vendor is planning to launch yet another smartphone in the near future.

Ahead of the unveiling, an ASUS smartphone with the model number ASUS Z01RD has been spotted on the Chinese certification agency TENAA’s website. The listing on the certification website reveals that this particular ASUS offering will have a 6.18-inch display with unknown resolution and an aspect ratio. The listing also reveals that the phone could be powered by a 3,150mAh battery. Sadly, no other details about the handset have been leaked by TENAA listing.

If the earlier reports are to be believed, the ASUS Z01RD model can be a variant of the ZenFone 5. However, it hasn’t been officially confirmed, so it’s advisable to take the leak with a grain of salt for now.
