Xiaomi Mi Max 3 official press renders shared ahead of July 19th launch
“The next-gen Mi Max 3 also sports a huge display and massive battery”
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 phablet is scheduled to launch in China on July 19th. But, thanks to the constant leaks and rumours, the smartphone is no longer a mystery to us. Now, press renders of the Mi Max 3 have been shared on Chinese micro-blogging site, Weibo, thereby confirming its design and colour variants.

The renders were shared by none other than Xiaomi’s founder, Bin Lin, and they are inline with past leaks. It confirms that the phone will have a full view 18:9 aspect ratio display and a rear panel very similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Moreover, the Mi Max 3 will be available in three colour options: Blue, Black, and Gold.

As for the specifications, the Mi Max 3 is expected to feature a huge 6.9-inch display on the front and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset under its hood. The chipset is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, which would be expandable via a microSD card. The dual-rear camera setup is likely to sport 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors with LED flash. There is no detail on the handset’s front camera sensor as of now.

The Mi Max 3 will come pre-loaded with Android Oreo-based EMUI 10 OS, and a massive 5,500mAh battery will back the smartphone. The renders confirm that the phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
That’s all for now, but we expect more information to flow-in once Xiaomi announces it officially on the coming Thursday at 05:00 pm IST. It also remains to be seen whether a Pro version of Mi Max 3 with Snapdragon 710 SoC will be coming or not.
