Xiaomi Mi Mix 3’s alleged sketch and press render leaked ahead of September launch

Last year in September, Xiaomi unveiled its all-screen bezel-free Mi Mix 2 smartphone in China. Earlier in March, the company introduced a new variant of the flagship called the Mi Mix 2S. Now the Chinese electronics conglomerate is all set to release its latest Mi Mix series smartphone dubbed the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. Ahead of the launch, we have already seen a number of leaked images of the upcoming Mi Mix offering. Now, a purported sketch and a press render of the Mi Mix 3 have surfaced on the Chinese social networking website Weibo.

Talking about the leaked sketch first, it suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 could feature even slimmer bezels than its predecessor. The bottom chin of the handset doesn’t have the selfie camera. If the reports are to be believed, the phone will come with a pop-up selfie camera, just like the Vivo NEX flagship. As for the alleged press render, it shows the bezel-free front estate of the phone without any selfie camera.

According to a recently leaked teaser poster, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 could be released at some point in September this year. The poster of the handset also suggested the presence of a pop-up selfie camera for the handset. We expect the rumour mill to reveal more details about the device in the near future, so stay tuned.
