Xiaomi’s POCOPHONE F1 gets Eurasian certification

Several recent reports have suggested that Xiaomi is planning to launch a new smartphone under its new brand called POCOPHONE, for which, the brand filed trademark earlier. Ahead of the unveiling, the phone’s alleged hands-on video leaked recently, which revealed some details regarding its pricing and design. The device is expected to be called the POCOPHONE F1, and could carry the codename Beryllium. Now, the handset has received Eurasian certification.

Xiaomi’s POCOPHONE F1 has been certified by Eurasian certification’s website under the model number “M1805E10A”. The same model number for the handset was spotted in the About Phone section in the earlier leaked video. The certification was published yesterday, and has the validity until 2027. Sadly, the certification hasn’t revealed anything else about the features of the device.

As per the earlier leaks, the POCOPHONE F1 aka Beryllium could feature an LCD display with a notch above the screen. The phone is expected to be powered by a 2.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, and boot Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9 out of the box. The other tipped specs include 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, non-expandable storage, and a 4,000mAh battery.
