“The Honor 8X will come as a successor to Honor 7X that was launched last year”

Earlier today, Honor introduced its mid-range smartphone called the Honor Play (first impression) in India. The latest offering from the Chinese OEM that offers some top-of-the-line specs at a pretty aggressive price. Now, it looks like the company is gearing up to launch another affordable to mid-range device called the Honor 8X. The handset has been allegedly certified by the Chinese certification agency MIIT.

The agency’s site shows the Honor handset listed as JSN-AL00, which could be the model number for the Honor 8X. The listing doesn’t reveal any specifications of the upcoming Honor offering, apart from showing that the 8X phone will come with support for 4G LTE networks. Notably, the Honor 8X will succeed the Honor 7X (review) that debuted in India last year as one of the rare few smartphones with full view display and dual-cameras at an affordable price.
