OPPO A3s 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant now available in India at Rs 12,999

OPPO announced its budget smartphone, the A3s, last month in India. It was the company’s first dual-rear camera handset in the market, backed by a notch-totting display and a large battery. Today, OPPO has announced the same phone with higher configuration – 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space – that will sell alongside the A3s 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant. Everything else on the phone remains the same. 

To recall, the OPPO A3s comes with a 6.2-inch 19:9 display with 88.8 percent screen-to-body aspect ratio and HD+ (1520 x 720p) resolution. At its heart, lies a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 mobile chipset, powered by a 4,230mAh battery. In the camera department, the phone features a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, both on the rear with LED flash. Its front camera is an 8MP shooter with OPPO’s AI Beauty 2.0 Technology.

The A3s runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out-of-the-box. Notably, it also has a Music Party feature to enhance the music experience on the phone. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The new 4GB variant of OPPO A3s has been priced in India at Rs 12,990. The phone is up for grabs on e-commerce sites including Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm online, as well as major offline stores. You can pick the handset from Dark Purple and Red colour options.
