Samsung Galaxy Note9 goes up for pre-orders in India, price starts at Rs 67,900

Samsung’s Galaxy Note9 was launched globally in New York yesterday. And now the South Korean titan has announced that it’ll be going on sale in India soon. Before that however, the brand has already started taking pre-orders for its latest flagship along with revealing its pricing info. The handset will retail in India with a starting price of Rs 67,900. Interested buyers can pre-book the smartphone between August 10th to August 21st by paying the entire sum and availing exciting launch offers as well. The top-end model on the other hand, will set you back by Rs 84,900. Key highlights of the handset include a big-screen display, powerful chipset, upgraded S Pen with Bluetooth connectivity, and a large battery.
As part of the launch offers, the customers who pre-book the Galaxy Note9 will also get a chance to buy the Samsung Gear Sport smartwatch for a special price of Rs 4,999, instead of its MRP of Rs 22,990. Pre-bookings can be done from both offline and online channel, and buyers can also opt for no-cost EMIs on credit cards or Bajaj FinServ cards. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 will be available with up to Rs 6,000 discount on the exchange offer or buying the phone from Paytm Mall or making transactions using HDFC Bank cards.
As for the specifications, the Galaxy Note9 sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. In India, the phone will come powered by the Exynos 9810 SoC. For photography, it features dual 12MP sensors with LED flash on the rear and an 8MP selfie shooter on the front. The Note9 boots Android Oreo out of the box, and houses a 4,000mAh battery to keep the things going. Notably, the handset is IP68 certified, has a dedicated AI Bixby button, S Pen stylus, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 comes in Midnight Black, Lavender Purple, Metallic Copper colour options and is expected to go for sale across the country from August 22nd. There are reports that Samsung could host an event on the same day to announce the smartphone in India.
