Transsion Holdings’ sub-brand, TECNO recently took to the stage to announce the Camon iAce and Camon iSky 2 smartphones in India. The budget models are touted to feature the best camera-technology in the category, and both flaunt a full view no-notch display. Just like other TECNO devices, the new Camon iAce and iSky2 will also retail in offline markets across the country August 20th onwards.

Coming to the specifications, both smartphones go hand-in-hand, except for the camera department. For photography, the Camon iSky2 features a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a VGA secondary sensor with dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture lens. Its front camera is a 13-megapixel shooter backed by LED flash. The Camon iAce, on the other hand, employs a 13-megapixel sensor on the rear and an 8-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and other stuff, with LED flash on both ends. Moreover, the cameras on both the phones are optimised with AI, primarily to enhance the results.

The TECNO Camon iAce and iSky2 both sport a 5.5-inch 18:9 HD+display. Under the hood, they both rock a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739WW SoC mated with 2GB of RAM and 64GB expandable storage. The handsets boot on Android 8.1 Oreo-based HiOS and are fueled by 3,500mAh battery. Additionally, the Camon iSky2 comes with a fingerprint sensor as well as face unlock for biometrics whereas the Camon iAce relies only on face unlock.
As for the pricing, the TECNO Camon iSky2 will retail at Rs 7,499 and the Camon iAce, at Rs 6,799. Jio users can avail an instant cashback of Rs 2,200 on Rs 198/ Rs 229 prepaid recharge with the smartphones as part of the launch offers.
