Xiaomi Hey+ fitness tracker with a 0.95-inch display and NFC launched in China

Earlier this year, Xiaomi hosted its 2018 Annual Product Launch event in Shenzhen, China. The brand introduced the Mi 8 (first impressions) and its siblings in the form of the Mi 8 Explorer Edition and Mi 8 SE (in pictures), alongside the third-gen Mi Band, at the event. The new Mi Band 3 brought a lot of improvements over its predecessor including a better display and connectivity options. It seems that the company has other wearables planned as well as it has just launched a new fitness tracker called the Hey+ in China.
The fitness tracker has been listed on the Kickstarter of China 
Youpin and has already surpassed its funding goal on the website. The Xiaomi Hey+ has been equipped with a 0.95-inch colour OLED screen, which comes with a screen resolution of 240×120 pixels. Crafted from thermoplastic elastometer, the latest band weighs only 19.7 gms and comes with the water resistance of up to 50 meters. On the battery front, the device ships with a 120mAh cell, which Xiaomi claims can last up to eighteen days on a full charge.
Coming to the other features, the latest fitness band from Xiaomi is cross-compatible with both Android and iOS through the Mi Fit app. The smart device uses Bluetooth 4.2 to connect and sync data with the smartphones. Since the Xiaomi Hey+ band has been designed for fitness tracking it can keep track of activities like swimming, running, walking and also monitor your heart rate. The tracker is also equipped to read the pulse of users and send analysis to their smartphones. Other features of the accessory include caller ID, sleep monitoring, alarms, reminders, NFC and notifications.
Xiaomi has priced the latest fitness tracker at RMB 229 (~Rs 2,300) in China. According to the latest report, the fitness tracker will go on sale in its home country starting September 20th.
