Xiaomi’s POCOPHONE F1 with Snapdragon 845 SoC and liquid cooling listed online

Ever since news of the Xiaomi POCOPHONE F1 smartphone broke, the rumour mill has been buzzing with one or the other report about the device. Most recently, the handset was spotted on the FCC, BIS, and Bluetooth certification site. After the alleged price leak and reports that the handset would be coming to India, the POCOPHONE F1 has surfaced in a Romanian online retail site – PC Garage – that reveals its specs, and price, ahead of the official announcement.

According to the listing, the POCOPHONE F1 will come with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with a pixel density of 416ppi and aspect ratio of 19:9. It is expected to employ the most qualified brain in the industry – Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, paired with Adreno 630GPU and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM. The handset maker is likely to offer the smartphone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage, which’ll be expandable via microSD card.

In the camera department, the hybrid dual-SIM phone to feature a combination 12-megapixel primary sensor with dual LED Flash, 1.4μm pixel size and 5-megapixel secondary shooter at the rear panel. The front camera is going to be a 20-megapixel shooter with LED flash. Other POCOPHONE features that were leaked through listing include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.0, 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. On the connectivity front, one can expect 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.

As for the pricing, the Xiaomi POCOPHONE F1 is rumored to start at 1999,00 Romanian Leu (~34,265). Xiaomi is yet to announce its release date, but looking at the incessant leaks the phone could be official anytime soon. Stay tuned to receive more updates.
