The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has received an overall camera test score of 103 points on DxOMark’s tests. The smartphone has become the fourth smartphone to cross the 100 points mark after the Huawei P20, P20 Pro, and HTC U12+. The Note9 is currently the third best camera smartphone as per the camera testing firm’s results. The latest Galaxy Note flagship is right behind the HTC U12+, which also shares the same 103 points score on DxOMark’s test, but received higher points in the video capturing department.

DxOMark has given the Samsung Galaxy Note9 107 points for stills and 94 points for video capturing capabilities. The firm suggests that in the stills department, the phone’s autofocus operation is fast and accurate, in both indoor and outdoor scenarios. The device is said to deliver a wide dynamic range under most conditions. In the video department, DxOMark says that the Galaxy Note9 offers very good autofocus and effective tracking, and delivers bright and vivid colours. As for the cons, images from the smartphone’s camera show loss of detail in low-light conditions and its flash produces inconsistent white balance between capturing shots.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 is available in India in two RAM and storage configurations – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 512GB. The former is priced at Rs 67,900, while the latter is being offered for Rs 84,900. The phone is up for grabs in the country across channels in three hues – Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Metallic Copper.
