Honor Magic 2 with OPPO Find X-like screen reportedly launching on October 31st
“The Honor Magic 2 is expected to come with a sliding screen like the OPPO Find X”
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has just announced that it will be hosting an event on October 31st to unveil the Magic 2 smartphone. The company’s teaser for the smartphone suggests that the handset could offer a sliding screen, just like OPPO’s Find X smartphone (first impressions).
Notably, Honor had already teased the Honor Magic 2 smartphone at an event at IFA 2018 in Berlin. The company’s teaser suggested that the handset could offer a design similar to the OPPO Find X with a sliding out front camera mechanism. The brand has already confirmed that its next-gen Magic series offering will be powered by its latest Kirin 980 SoC, which is based on the 7nm fabrication process.
As far as the specs are concerned, the Honor Magic 2 is expected to come with a 6-inch AMOLED screen featuring a resolution of 1,440 x 2,880 pixels. The phone could pack in 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. We can also expect the handset to come with dual rear cameras and an in-display fingerprint scanner. We should have more details about the device in the near future, so stay tuned.
