HP’s new Spectre x360 laptops arrive with optional Gigabit class LTE and up to 22.5 hours battery backup

“HP’s latest Spectre x360 duo boast of up to 22.5 hours of battery life. The laptops are powered by Intel 8th Gen processors”

HP’s Spectre lineup has been a visual delight so far. The company has once again overhauled the Spectre lineup with an updated device. The all-new Spectre x360’s 13 and 15-inch models come equipped with a privacy switch that lets you kill the webcam for privacy reasons. The 13-inch model seems to steal the show with a promised 22.5-hour peak battery life.

Yes, the 22.5 hour figure might be a bit less in real life scenarios, however, the battery life is still commendable. HP is also offering an optional “gigabit-class” LTE on the 13-inch model. The company is baking in Intel’s 8th Gen quad-core processor in the 13-inch Spectre while the larger model gets a six-core option. HP is offering up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD. The options just don’t stop there as you can choose between the FHD display or a 4K one.

On the graphics front, HP has now moved on to Nvidia and is offering a handful of choices for the 15-inch model. You can choose between Nvidia GeForce MX 150 with Intel 8th Gen quad-core or GTX 1050Ti with Intel 8th Gen hexacore. HP seems to have bettered the thermal management with bigger dual fans and radiators.

As was with its predecessor, the new Spectre’s can be flipped over for tablet mode and on the ergonomics front, the laptop lid now gets a chamfered design that helps you in lifting the lid. The HP Spectre x360 13 and the 15 will be available starting from November. The 13-inch Spectre x360 is priced starting at $1,149 (~Rs 84,000) while the 15-inch model will start retailing at $1,389 (~Rs 1,01,700). It is very likely that HP will launch the new laptops in India, however, be ready to shell out a lot more money compared to the U.S retail price.
