Massive OnePlus 6T leak leaves nothing to the imagination

OnePlus is all set to be unveiled the OnePlus 6T at an event in New York City on October 29th, and launch the phone in India on October 30th. Ahead of the unveiling, the rumour mill has already treated us some juicy details about the flagship. Now, gadget tipster Ishaan Agarwal has leaked everything about the OnePlus 6T, including its specs sheet and official renders, which has left nothing to the imagination about the device.

The design of the OnePlus 6T seen in the leaked official renders is in line with the earlier leaks. The photos indicate that the smartphone could flaunt a waterdrop notch above the screen, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a dual primary camera setup at the rear. The leaked specs sheet suggests that the phone will feature a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 86 percent. Software-wise, the new OnePlus flagship will boot Android 9.0 Pie-based OxygenOS out of the box.

Moving on to the other features, the OnePlus 6T will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, aided by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. While the leaked specs sheet doesn’t mention it, the phone is expected to be available in another RAM and storage variant as well. A 3,700mAh battery is expected to keep the smartphone running. Notably, the brand is rumoured to rebrand is Dash Charge fast charging technology to either Warp Charge or Jet Charge.

As for the other specifications, the leak suggests that the OnePlus 6T will flaunt a dual-camera setup at the rear consisting of a 16MP and a 20MP sensor, both featuring an aperture of f/1.7. The device will offer 2160p video recording at 60fps and optical image stabilisation. For selfies, the handset is said to feature a 20-megapixel front snapper with f/1.7 aperture. In terms of connectivity, the device could offer 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, and A-GPS.

Pricing of the OnePlus 6T for India is not available at the moment. However, the phone’s 8GB + 128GB model is rumoured to be priced at €579 (~Rs 48,300). Notably, the device is expected to be priced more competitively in India.
