Vodafone prepaid plans of Rs 99 and Rs 109 with unlimited voice calling launched

“Both recharges come with a validity of 28-days”

Vodafone India has announced two new prepaid plans of Rs 99 and Rs 109 for its subscribers. While both recharges have unlimited voice call benefit, the Rs 109, in particular, also comes with daily data benefit of 1GB. The validity of both the plans are for 28-days, and the free calls they offer has a FUP limit of 250-minutes per day, and 1000 minutes per week.

Digging into the details, the Vodafone’s Rs 99 is just a voice-only plan. It doesn’t bundle any data/ SMS benefits. The plan competes with Reliance Jio’s Rs 98, which offers unlimited calls with no FUP, 2GB of data, and SMS benefit for 28-days. The Vodafone’s Rs 109 scheme, on the other hand, bundles 28GB data for the period and 100-SMS benefits for a day along with unlimited calling with FUP. 

In related news, Vodafone has been merged with Idea cellular to form a single entity called the Vodafone Idea Limited. This has helped the group to become the country’s biggest telecom operator with over 408 million users.
