Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 to be the most expensive Mi MIX smartphone, reveals leaked image

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 smartphone has been leaked and revealed left and right. As the launch awaits, we already know that the handset will feature a truly bezel-less display, a slide-out camera mechanism, dual-selfie camera, and a fast wireless charging support. Now, the price of the alleged Mi MIX 3 has surfaced on the interwebs, thanks to the official online listing. As per the webpage, the Mi MIX 3 will cost RMB 3,700 (~Rs 40,000) for the 6GB RAM option, which will reportedly be the base model. 

It’s worth mentioning that the pricing of the Mi MIX 3 is a tad expensive than its predecessor Mi MIX 2 (first impression). The latter’s base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage was priced at RMB 3,299 (~Rs 35,000). Moving on, the Mi MIX 3 is also expected to come with 8GB RAM and 10GB RAM variants, but their price hasn’t been revealed yet. As for the storage onboard, the phone is likely to get 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB paired with the respective RAM options. 

Talking about its specifications, the MIX 3 smartphone is expected to sport a Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of  2,340 x 1,080 pixels, size not known at the moment. The phone will reportedly rock Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood for the normal 4G variant and an unannounced Snapdragon 855 SoC for the teased 5G model. On the camera front, the device will sport a dual 24MP sensors on the front and the camera set up on the rear that will support 960fps slow-mo video, just like the Galaxy S9 and S9+. The Mi Mix 3 is tipped to come pre-loaded with Android Pie-based MIUI 10 out of the box and house a battery that will also support wireless charging.

That’s all we know so far. However, we wouldn’t have to wait for long to know confirmed and complete specifications of the handset as the launch is just 2-day away, which is October 25th. Meanwhile, potential buyers in China can pre-book the Mi MIX 3 smartphone form the e-commerce site JD.com.
