Samsung Galaxy S10 5G again said to ship with 12GB of RAM and 1TB storage
“This is not the first time Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has been reported to come with 12GB of RAM”
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G variant has frequently been in the rumour mill for the past few weeks and it is shaping up to be quite a smartphone, if the leaks are to be believed. The latest word on the handset is that it will come with the highest RAM and storage ever on a smartphone. This adds to other rumoured features about the Galaxy S10 5G model, which is said to come with a ceramic back, TOF camera, and four-camera setup on the back.
According to Hong Kong-based GF Securities, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G model will come with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage. Of course, it will not be the first smartphone to feature either 12GB RAM or 1TB storage since those distinctions go to the Turing Phone Cadenza and Smartisan Nut R1, respectively. Nonetheless, the Samsung model will still be the first mainstream smartphone to offer such stellar specifications.

This is not the first time 12GB RAM has been rumoured for Galaxy S10 5G and the Huawei P30 Pro model is also said to come with the same amount of RAM. With even 10GB RAM phones yet to go mainstream, it is unclear what could prompt Samsung to take such a huge leap unless the 5G model has some apps that could be resource intensive.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is said to launch in March 2019 and come with a 6.7-inch display, four-camera setup on the back, dual cameras in the front, and ceramic back cover in Black and White colour options. The smartphone is also expected to come with the Snapdragon 8150 SoC.
