Honor Band 4 with real-time heart rate detection and sleep monitoring launched in India

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched the Honor Band 4, its latest fitness tracker, in India. The successor to the Honor Band 3 comes with an AMOLED colour display and Huawei’s TruSleep monitoring technology. The band is touted to act like a personal fitness trainer that can monitor users’ health and activities efficiently. It can be paired with smartphones running Android 4.4+ or iOS 9 using the Huawei Health App.

Honor Band 4 price in India

The Honor Band 4 price in India is Rs 2,599. The fitness trackers comes in three colour options: Meteorite Black, Midnight Black, and Dahila Pink. The band can be purchased exclusively from Amazon.in starting 12pm on December 18th.

Honor Band 4 specifications

On the specifications front, the Honor Band 4 flaunts a 0.95-inch AMOLED display with 240 x 120p resolution and 2.5D curved screen up top. The wearable is said to come with user-friendly icons that are crisp and clear. It supports intuitive scroll gestures for navigation and a Home button for one-click return. Moreover, the Honor Band 4 comes with buckle design that keeps it fixed to the user’s wrist. Though the battery capacity has not been revealed, the Honor Band 4 is claimed to last up to 17 days under normal usage on a single charge.

Coming to the fitness features of Honor Band 4, it’s backed by Huawei’s TruSeen 3.0 heart rate technology that can monitor heart rate in real-time. The band also incorporates TruSleep monitoring technology for sleep tracking and Swim Stroke recognition with 6-axis sensor that can automatically recognise swim strokes, records swimming speed, distance and calories. It’s worth mentioning that Band 4 is water-resistant up to 50 metres. Its other features include online number identification, answering and rejecting calls, and message notifications.
