Sony launches wireless noise cancelling headphones, WH-CH700N in India for Rs 12,990

Sony has launched its mid-range wireless noise cancelling headphones, WH-CH700N in India for Rs 12,990. The headphones are available starting today across all Sony Centers and major electronic stores in the colour Black. The WH-CH700N features a trendy design and a 35 hour battery life.
The headphones also come with Quick charge, which allows for an hour of playback with just 10 minute of charge. They make use of Sony’s digital noise cancellation technology to block out unwanted background noise and provide an immersive sound experience. The Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancellation (AINC) analyses background sounds and adjusts it for optimal performance on airplanes and other noisy environments. It can be activated with a simple press and hold of the NC button.
In terms of design, WH-CH700N gets an adjustable slider headband and premium soft Earpads for better fit and comfort. The headphones can be swiveled flat and packed in a suitcase or bag for easy transportation. Going forward, Sony’s entrant will also make use of Google Assistant and houses a built-in microphone for voice assistant commands and hands-free calls. It has a built-in Li-ion battery which is rechargeable via a USB cable. Sony supplies an additional cable (1.2 meter long) with the box, which can be used to extend the headphone’s playtime when its battery runs out. Other than that it, takes around 7 hours to charge completely.
Sony’s WH-CH700N headphones can be customized for different songs and the settings can be saved for future use using the Sony Headphones Connect App on Android and iOS. It also supports NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 and different audio formats including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD and has an effective range of 10 meters.
