Realme teases new entertainment-focussed smartphone on Flipkart, could be Realme A1

OPPO offshoot Realme had a great debut in 2018, with smartphones that undercut even those by Xiaomi in India. The company is yet to open an account in 2019 but it seems a new product might just be around the corner. Teasers of a mystery Realme smartphone were spotted on a new Flipkart page today dedicated to the upcoming smartphone. While the exact product name is not known yet, it is dubbed as “Entertainment Ka Boss”.
The teaser does have silhouettes of a smartphone in the background with a notch. The current tagline for the handset hints that there will be some entertainment-focused features onboard the upcoming device. Also, it seems the handset will feature a big battery, a good amount of storage for media files, and great gaming capabilities. That said, this is a very cryptic teaser and we will have to wait a bit more to find out more about the upcoming handset.
As far as previous reports and rumours are concerned, talk about a budget Realme A1 have been making the rounds while a flagship Realme 3 launch is also almost certain. Realme A1 is expected to be a handset sitting below the Realme U1 in the company’s portfolio. In terms of specs, the Realme A1 could rock a new Helio P70 chipset with options of 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. It’s also said that the device will have a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a beefy 4200mAh battery.
