Vivo V15 Pro will reportedly be launched as X25 in China

The upcoming Vivo V15 Pro in India could launch as Vivo X25 in China next month, the Chinese media is speculating. A recently leaked case of V15 Pro revealed a triple-camera setup at the back, placed at the top-left corner and a large cutout on the top edge towards for a pop-up front camera module. This is line with the leaked info of X25, which suggests a similar design structure and the use of a pop-up camera module instead of a display notch. Due to the similar camera placement and case details, it is being speculated that both devices are the same.
Vivo V15 Pro launch date in India as February 20th has been all but confirmed. The same has been confirmed by an official media invite sent by Vivo for the launch of V11 Pro successor. We expect it to be priced somewhere between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. We recently confirmed that both V15 and V15 Pro will be the brand’s next-gen mid-range offerings and come with a massive 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor. Both the smartphones are also expected to sport an in-display fingerprint reader in addition to the notch-less display. The V15 price in India is expected to be somewhere in the Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 bracket.
The press invite teases the picture of V15 Pro’s pop-up camera and minimal bezels. And yes, Vivo’s launch collides with Samsung’s Unpacked event, which will take covers off the Galaxy S10 flagship and possibly its first foldable phone. As to how much interest Vivo will be able to garner for its smartphone in the wake of such big launches, that remains to be seen.
