Realme 2 Pro price in India cut once again, now starts at Rs 9,999

Ahead of the Realme 3 Pro launch, OPPO’s spin-off brand Realme has dropped the price of its Realme 2 Pro (review) smartphone. This is the second cut the handset has received since its launch late last year. The Realme 2 Pro is now available at Rs 9,999, instead of Rs 10,999, for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, while the top-end 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option cost Rs 10,999, down from its previous MOP of Rs 13,499. The new prices are reflecting on Amazon’s platform and Realme’s official website. The handset is available in Fiery Gold, Ambitious Black, and Brave Blue colour options.

Realme 2 Pro specifications

To recall, the Realme 2 Pro comes preloaded with ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset flaunts a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge display with waterdrop notch, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and full-HD+ resolution. At its core lies MediaTek’s mid-range Helio P70 SoC clocked up to 2.1GHz and paired with ARM G72 GPU and up to 4GB of RAM. The phonemaker ships the device with up to 64GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).

In the camera department, the Realme 2 Pro rocks a combination of 13-megapixel (f/2.2) + 2-megapixel (f/2.4) sensors at the back panel with LED flash. The front camera gets a 25-megapixel shooter with f/2.8 aperture, 1.8-micron pixels, and 4-in-1 pixels tech. The entire setup is fuelled by a 3,500mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the phone ships with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, micro-USD port, OTG support, and 3.5mm audio jack. Lastly, it measures 157x74x8mm, weighs 168 grams, and comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back.
