Bose has announced a new flagship smart noise-cancelling headphones 700 with a refreshed design that looks sleek and quite different from the popular QC35 II. The company says that these are the world’s first audio augmented reality platform based headphones and packs adjustable design. The new headset comes with USB Type-C port for charging and Bluetooth connectivity with an operational range of 10 meters.
Furthermore, Bose Headphones 700 features a four-microphone system that is claimed to pick up your voice and isolate it while cancelling the noise around you. It also supports Google Assistant, Siri and Amazon Alexa virtual assistants for hands-free voice controls. They are claimed to last up to 20 hours on a single charge, and it takes 2.5 hours to charge fully. It also comes with quick charge support where it offers 3.5 of hours of music listening with 15 minutes of charging. They measure 8 x 6.5 x 2mm and weigh 113g. Users can also personalise their environment with 11 levels of noise cancellation.
Bose says that its AR-enabled products have motion sensors embedded inside and they can detect your head orientation and body movements while you wear them and use this information along with location data from smartphones to serve tailored audio content. Additionally, Bose has also introduced the Bose Earbuds 500, and Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700. While the former will be available later this year, the latter would go official in 2020. The company didn’t reveal anything about these headphones yet.
The Bose smart noise cancelling headphones 700 are priced at $399.95 (around Rs. 28,000.) and will be available in Black and Silver colour options. The company is now taking pre-orders on its official website and would be available via Bose.com, Bose stores, and select resellers starting June 30th.
