Huawei Mate 30 Lite tipped to feature Kirin 810 SoC and 4,000mAh battery

“Huawei Mate 30 Lite is expected to come with Kirin 810 SoC, pack a 4,000mAh battery, and 6.4-inch punch-hole display”

Huawei is currently known to be working on the Mate 30 series that is slated to launch sometime down the year. The Pro variant is tipped to feature 90Hz display like the OnePlus 7 Pro and pack quad rear cameras. Going by the company’s Mate series history, the Lite model should launch earlier than the other models and could have a different moniker in its home soil, China. Now, according to a new report from IT Home, the Huawei Mate 30 Lite is said to be powered by the newly launched HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC with Mali-G52 GPU.

The Kirin 810 SoC is coupled with the new Huawei DaVinci architecture NPU, which is based on the Rubik’s Cube Quantitative Stereo Arithmetic Unit. The Mate 30 Lite is also expected to feature a punch-hole design with 24MP selfie snapper, thereby offering a full-screen design. Media speculations point at a 6.4-inch IPS display with 1,080 X 2,310 pixels resolution. On the rear, the handset is said to feature a quad camera setup arranged in a square-matrix, similar to the Mate 20 Pro from 2018. There could be a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security.

The handset is said to be offered in two variants — 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI on top and pack 4,000mAh battery with 20W fast charge support. Though an official launch date is not known, Huawei could launch the Mate 30 series sometime between September and October. We should know more details soon.
