[Exclusive] OPPO Find X2 5G to launch in India soon

OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro will be unveiled in China on March 6th. These are confirmed to ship with Snapdragon 865 SoC and have 5G connectivity as well. We’ve come across bits and pieces of information about the flagships giving us an idea on what to expect. Now, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from industry sources the OPPO Find X2 5G version will be tapping the Indian waters soon. Unfortunately, the exact timeline isn’t revealed yet but should happen in the next couple of months.

Separately, OPPO India has announced that it’s Hyderabad R&D centre will conduct a WhatsApp video calling with 5G band speed and demonstrate fast movie downloads and cloud gaming feature on Snapdragon chipset. OPPO India R&D head, Tasleem Arif has tweeted a photo showing the group video conference on a phone that is entirely covered in a case. It has a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner, curved edge-to-edge display and 5G logo as well. Our sources suggest that it is indeed OPPO Find X2 5G version.

OPPO Find X2 Pro and Find X2 specifications

The OPPO Find X2 Pro is said to flaunt a 6.7-inch AMOLED 2K display with 120Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. It is expected to pack up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB internal storage. On the rear, it’ll have a 48MP primary sensor, a 48MP wide-angle lens and a 13MP telephoto lens. The phone could house a 4,260mAh battery with SuperVOOC fast charging support. According to the listing, the Find X2 Pro is said to be priced at PHP 62,990 (around Rs 90,400). Buyers will also get Enco Q1 wireless Bluetooth earphones, Rockspace R51 wireless power bank, and a PHP 1,000 (around Rs 1,500) voucher.

As for the vanilla OPPO Find X2, the smartphone will also feature a 2K 120Hz display. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 256GB internal storage. The rear camera setup will include a 48MP main camera, 12MP wide-angle lens and 13MP telephoto lens. The smartphone will house a 4,200mAh battery. Both the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro will come with a 32MP selfie camera and will ship with ColorOS 7.1, as per the leaked specifications.
