Chinese smartphone maker Realme has an event scheduled in India today where it’s slated to launch a bunch of devices, including Realme TV, Realme Watch, and Realme Buds Air Neo. These are going to be the latest IoT and lifestyle devices from the brand in the country. Realme will be foraying into the smart TV and smartwatch segments in the Indian market with its first-gen Realme TV and Realme Watch. The Realme Buds Air Neo, on the other hand, will be an affordable version of the Buds Air earphones that were launched in India last year. The specifications and features of Realme Buds Air Neo, Realme TV, and Realme Watch are pretty much known – the only piece missing from the puzzle are the respective prices. Realme TV will ship with Android TV OS, Google Assistant support, and Google Play Store. The TV will also have popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube pre-installed. It’s said to be the first TV in the segment to come with 64-bit MediaTek quad-core chipset and quad speakers with a 24W stereo output and Dolby Audio support. Lastly, the Realme TV is expected to come in three sizes: 43-inch, 32-inch, and 55-inch, all with bezel-less design and with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and built-in Chromecast for screen mirroring. Realme Watch specifications and features
As for Realme Watch specifications, the wearable will flaunt a 1.4-inch touchscreen colour display, multiple watch faces, and customisable straps. Its features include 24×7 health-assistant, real-time heart rate monitor, support for 14 sports modes, and smart notifications. The Realme Watch will also support the SpO2 monitor to measure the amount of oxygen in the blood, control music playback, and pushes sedentary reminders as well. You will be able to pair the watch with a smartphone using the Realme Link app. The Realme Watch is likely to be priced under Rs 10,000 in India.
Realme Buds Air Neo specifications
Realme Buds Air Neo, which will have its design inspired from the original Realme Buds, will tout 17 hours battery life, Bluetooth 5.0, and 13mm bass boost drivers. The earbuds will also come with an optical sensor to detect in-ear placement and a touch sensor on the surface to control music playback and calls. The Buds Air Neo will also feature a Super Low Latency Mode that improves connectivity and reduces latency by up to 50 percent compared to normal mode. Other key features include micro-USB port for charging, seamless auto-connection, and colour options such as green, red, and white. The Realme Buds Air Neo price in India is tipped to be Rs 2,999, which is Rs 1,000 cheaper than the Buds Air.
